All parts are colour co-ordinated
Headrail, bottom bar buttons and cord condenser are colour co-ordinated PVC
Cords and ladder braids are colour co-ordinated
D shaped valance colour co-ordinated with clips attached to headrail
Hollow Trapezoid bottom bar with end caps colour co-ordinated - NOT EMBOSSED
Bottom Bar is approximately 50mm deep x 13mm high
Tassels will be colour matched plastic
Headrail is approximately 59mm wide x 42mm high
Box end brackets with centre support where needed - brackets 56mm deep x 47mm high
Break away cord condenser & 2 piece cleat in accordance with the Child Safety Legislation

NOTE: Alignment of slats across multiple blinds not available. Embossed blinds are finished with embossed valance and smooth bottom bar.

Due to PVC having a low heat distortion temperature, coupled with increased heat absorption of darker colours, a degree of warping may occur where blinds are subject to high levels of direct sunlight.

Starwood 50mm high quality made-to-measure Faux Wood Venetian Blind at a budget price. The Starwood Faux Wood range is manufactured from PVC and is available in a selection of smooth and fine grain finishes with a colour co-ordinating D shaped valance, Trapezoid hollow bottom bar with end caps, Cords and Ladder Braids.

Starwood Faux Wood Venetian Blinds come with a choice of co-ordinating tapes, so there is a combination to suit any room at an exceptionally low price.

Starwood Faux Wood Venetian Blinds are manufactured in accordance with the child safety legislation.

The number of ladder cords or tapes varies according to the blind size.

Controls

Valance & Returns

Inside Recess

The recess is inside the window opening. Choose this option if you want to the blind to lie in the recess of the window.

Width: Measure the inside width of the window at the top middle and bottom. Use the narrowest width measurement always using a metal tape measure.

Height: Measure the height of the window at the left, centre and right. Use the shortest height measurement always using a metal tape measure.

We will deduct the manufacturers recommended tolerance off the width/drop of the blind to ensure the blind operates perfectly within the window recess.

Outside Recess/Exact

Outside Recess/Exact is the outside of the window opening, overlapping the window recess. Choose this option if you want the blind to overlap the window recess.

Width
To minimise light leakage it's recommended that the blind overlaps the window recess on the width by least 40mm each side (60mm in the case of vertical blinds).

Height
When measuring the height take into account the required space for the mounting bracket. A flat surface of a minimum 70mm above is required (50mm in the case of vertical blinds). The overlap at the bottom of the blind is a matter of personal choice but please take into account obstacles such as radiators.

Starwood Controls

These blinds come with a Tilt Cord Control to enable you to adjust the angle of the slats and a Raise/Lower Cord Control to enable you to lift and lower the blind completely.

Standard controls have the Raise Control on the right and the Tilt Control on the left.

Starwood Faux Wood Venetian blinds are available with either colour co-ordinating ladder braids or with a colour co-ordinating 25mm tape.

If you select recommend tapes your chosen slat colour will come with the below tape colour

Starwood Faux Wood Tape Collection

Starwood Faux Wood Valance and Returns

Your Starwood Faux Wood Blind comes complete with a co-ordinated plain valance which covers the head rail.

If your blind is being fitted into a recess the valance will hide the head rail.

However if you are fitting the blind outside of the recess you will be able to see the ends of the head rail. In this instance you can choose to add mitred valance returns to your order. These fit at right angles to the matching valance and will hide the ends of the head rail.

Plain Valance will be approximately 12mm longer than the blind headrail of the blind

Valance with mitred returns will be approximately 14mm longer than the headrail of the blind
