Every VELUX roof window manufactured after 1968 has an identification plate, also called a type sign. Open the window and look at the top of the window sash. The plate identifies the window type and size.

For example, a window may be marked GGL MK06. GGL identifies the window type and MK06 identifies its size. Enter both into the finder above rather than measuring the window yourself.

Older VELUX windows can use different size codes from current models, so always use the information shown on the identification plate.
