YES a Work Address or a Neighbours address can be used, please put these details in the “Delivery Address” part of the order form.
If no one is in on the first delivery attempt they will leave you a card stating the date and time of the attempted delivery. You will then be able to contact your local depot to either arrange a new delivery day, or arrange to call in and pick the parcel up yourself.

We sell a wide variety of products on our website with different guarantees. Each product has a guarantee symbol on each fabric indicating the length of the guarantee on the product.
YES the code on your box may be slightly different from the one ordered. The code may say DKL which is the code for a blackout blind, or RFL which is the code for a roller blind, or PAL which is the code for a venetian blind. The second part of the code i.e. M04 this is the window code that tells us the size of blind you require or have ordered.

Please email your visible glass size as long as it has the name VELUX® on the handle we should be able to determine the blind require. If your window isn't supplied by VELUX® please supply as much information as possible, including a photo and the accurate visible glass size, we will probably still be able to help.
All blinds on our website come with easy to follow installation instructions. Somebody with basic DIY skills can usually fit our blinds easily. For those customers who cannot fit the blinds themselves we recommend employing a local handy man.

Old fittings cannot be used to fit new blinds. You will need to remove all the old fittings before you start to fit the new blind.
According to VELUX® there Blackout Blinds are 99% blackout.
No a Genuine VELUX® blind will only fit a Genuine VELUX® window; however we do supply other makes of skylight window blinds. Please email your requirements to info@valeblinds.com

If your window is not a VELUX® please email us a photo along with an accurate visible glass size so we can help further.
YES you can use a rod control to open a GGL and a GGU window, if you have a GPL or a GHL you will need a slightly different rod control please contact info@valeblinds.com and we will gladly price this for you.
The Blackout blinds will provide a 99% blackout effect; these also have an outer aluminium foil that reflects excessive heat back out of the room in the summer whilst retaining heat within the room in the winter months. A Roller blind has a translucent fabric; this will give a diffused light effect in the room.
If your Skylight window blind is out of reach you can purchase a rod control to operate it.

YES we are please to announce we can supply a conservation window blind with any fabric including the blackout fabrics. We call this a dim-out blind, due to the construction of the window there is no side channels so a peer of light will enter around the blind. We now also have a Conservation Frame system so we can get a full Blackout effect.
